The Polish comedy-drama “The A(A) Team” has hit the cinemas. The film tells the story of five people struggling with alcohol addiction, who undertake an unusual mission. A series of unforeseen accidents puts to the test not only the success of the smuggling operation, but also forces the characters to fight their own weaknesses.
The driving scenes from inside the truck cabs were shot in TVN XR Studio on an LED screen. Thanks to this solution, actors with no truck driving skills sat behind the wheel of a powerful tanker truck. The logistically difficult and complicated scenes were filmed inside the shooting hall. Without the necessity of closing roads, involving the police or gaining numerous permits. Filming on the LED wall also made the film's production independent of the time of day or the weather outside the film studio.
The film is directed by Daniel Jaroszek, known for “Johnny,” produced by Next Film, and co-produced by TVN WBD. The cast features excellent Polish actors such as Danuta Stenka, Magdalena Cielecka, Łukasz Simlat, Michał Żurawski, Maria Sobocińska and Mikołaj Kubacki.
